the stranger spun round and pulled out two strange items. two sharp prongs emmited from each of them and he fired small darts at them

Tári, hearing this almost fell over. Glaedr scowled and snatched the key. "Fine. You'll be sleeping on the floor by the looks," he said, walking off.

the barman got up and walked towasrds the entrance all the guests were in so he locked the door
giles slept in the stable with vala and bobby lay asleep as did the stranger

Silia didn't sleep, instead took to looking out the window, something she was doing more and more of. I hope this damn blood's not getting to me she cursed in her head.
Glaedr, in a rare act of kindness, had given in to Tári's pleading look and let her sleep on the bed. Not in it, just on it, under his shirt.
