He's back...oh poo.
Name: Glaedr (still won't tell anyone his last name...hmm...the opposite of Kahn....kekekekeke...)
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Age: Pass? Well, he's around 400-500, but technically speaking, only a few days
Level: ????? (Think Warcraft. That many question marks means TROUBLE.)
Hit points: Lots. He enjoys taking them too.
Cash: No need.
Background: Glaedr's mother died in childbirth, and his father was hunted and killed for being what he was. For years, the half-drow wandered the forests learning to fend for himself. One day, he stumbled upon an Elvish city, Ellyria, and he went to investigate. He was caught and locked up, thought to be a danger, or a messenger for nearby drow. He was kept in that cage for years, during which he made friends with Tári, the elves' leader, Calurin's daughter. He was intrigued, no matter how many times he picked on her, she would always come back, sometimes with extra food and water, differing his diet from the bread and water he was supplied. They carried on having meetings, but they suddenly stopped when the city was attacked. Not sensing her death, he escaped from his prison (she was the only reason he had put up with captivity anyway), and set out to find her. A few days previously, he had left his cage and they had been intimate, leaving Tári in a...delicate (lol) condition, and he was eager to make sure she was alright.
Soon after, he was destroyed, but he had cast Sanctuary on a necklace Tári had given him, so that his soul would stay with her. Advences in science meant that she eventually (after a few hundred years), she could make him a new body and they could see each other again. He wishes to see how certain things had turned out, so as soon as he could, he struggled from the growth tube he was kept in.
His religion is typical of most Drow, in that he most definately believes in Lolth, but will not be down-trodden by her dislike of males. His father taught him of Eilistraee, and it is her that he serves. While his acts may sometimes seem evil, he is not nerely as ruthless as those who dwell in the Underdark. In fact, compared to them, he's a pansy.
Of course, being part Drow, his main weakness is light, which is partly why the elves kept him in an outside prison, rather than inside. If he has to travel by day, he wears a cloak to lessen his weakness and to hide himself from onlookers, preventing being captured again.
As I've said previously, he is a father, but his daughter was not born when he died, and he has yet to meet her.
Attributes: Lots of them.
Main weapon: None at the moment. He can barely walk, let alone fight.
note: his own sword? . GP
Re:Okay, here goes, I finally decided to give this some description. When Ellyria was destroyed, and Tári was gone, Glaedr went to find her, but took the sword the surfacers had taken from him when he was captured on the way. It has a jagged edge, and a white hilt, it previously belonged to his father. When he died, Tári took it, along with the phylactery she had given him as a way to hold on to him. She used the sword until she was able to bring him back, and has since returned it to him.
