No self respecting RPG would be without them...
1)BE NICE! Characters don't have to be curteous to each other, but while out of character, NO FLAMES!
2) Post in legible English please, 1337 is acceptable out of character on occasion, but if you post in text lanuage constantly, your warning levels will be boosted up
3)Stick to font defaults unless it serves a purpose, but
DON'T post like this
4)Try and keep on topic as best you can, if you want to havr a conversation with other characters in the RPG area, use (OOC: TEXT HERE) and keep it to a minimum
5) As stated before, I don't like flaming. You can poke fun at other USERS, so long as you indicate it's all in good spirit. Of course, it's alright for CHARACTERS of opposing clans to pick fights with one another, it's part of the game.
6) Swearing is permitted, but don't go overboard, or you'll get warned
7) If you want to post an image, fine, but only if you have a direct link, and it's relatively small. I don't want sigs with a mile of pictures of your characters. Put text links where possible, it cuts down on page loading times. It makes the board look tidier, and as stated before, if anyone is using dial-up (yes, people still use it...), it'll cut down on page loading.
Picture signatures are now limited to 500x250, seeing as people didn't seem to be all that bothered with keeping to a decent size. Damn you. Also, no more that two pictures can be used at a time.
8) If you MUST argue with another user, do it by pm. I don't want the board littered with your disputes. If you're having problems, PM me and I'll sort something out. Do NOT bring other people into your arguments.
9) If you're being offensive, or not adhering to these rules, your warning level will be boosted as I see fit, and no amount of whining will change until your attitude does. If your warning level exceeds 80, you will be banned.
10) If you want to post something that may offend some people (e.g, sex acts, violence), say so in the thread title. A brief description is all that is necessary, full blown porn is not acceptable and I will not tolerate racism.
11) If you only want certain people to be in your thread, state this in the subject, those that still enter will have posts deleted and warning levels boosted.
